This work follows a visit to the site of Sachenhausen concentration camp in the State of Berlin. The work explores the implications from the prisoner’s perspective of the words 'ARBEIT MACHT FREI', which are written in the prison gates.

The work uses text elements from Tony Blair's 2002 memo to G W Bush written before the start of the second American war in Iraq to highlight the contrast between the appearance and meaning of the blandishments in this secret memo with the devastating outcomes of war.
