Following a residency at Co-Galleries, Berlin, September - December 2019We All Have a Story’ examined the power of ‘storytellers’ to influence how we think; about lies, the distortion of the meaning of language and how this can lead to the dehumanisation of other people. Ultimately, the title refers to the possibility that every time you behold another human being, it is helpful to consider that every one of us has a story and is on a journey, personal or collective. The moment we begin to understand someone else’s story you can no longer define them as “other”. It can lead to the insight that we are just all “us” after all.
